As part of our objective of developing transplant sports in India, ORGAN India partnered with the Organ Transplant Trust, ROTTO North, PGIMER Chandigarh and ISTS to organize the 5th ROTTO–PGI Transplant Games 2025 held at the Sector 7 Stadium, Chandigarh, on March 22–23. ORGAN India played an active and integral role in supporting and shaping the event. The Games brought together over 300 athletes—transplant recipients, donors, and supporters—from 11 states to celebrate life after transplantation through sport.

As a key partner in the transplant community, ORGAN India’s efforts focused on ensuring that the event reflected the standards and spirit of the World Transplant Games, for which it is the official member organization from India. The team contributed extensively to the planning and management of sporting events, assisting in on-ground logistics, athlete coordination, and event organization, including the in-house development of the event’s identity, online presence and registration process.

The Games were extremely successful, and several outstanding athletes were identified and eventually participated as part of Team India at the World Transplant Games.
