Chairperson Parashar Foundation Founder, ORGAN India

Anika Parashar is the Chairperson of Parashar Foundation. She is responsible for the vision and birth of ORGAN India, as an initiative of the NGO Parashar Foundation. As the daughter of a heart transplant recipient, our former Chairperson, Late Mrs. Kirti Parashar, she has been dedicated to the cause of organ donation & transplant.

Anika has over 20 years of work experience with organizations like Fortis Healthcare Ltd., Mahindra & Mahindra, The National Childbirth Trust, BSKYB, Channel 4 and Old-World Hospitality. She has been creating innovative brands in Women care and Women’s Health in India for the past decade: Mom & Me - Mahindra Retail, Mamma Mia - Fortis Healthcare as Chief Operating Officer, La Femme, Fortis Healthcare and The Woman’s Company.

SUNAYANA ARORA SINGH

Sunayana Arora Singh co-founded ORGAN India as an initiative of the Parashar Foundation in 2013.

She is responsible for strategic planning in the organization, guiding the team and providing leadership in all projects of ORGAN India which has been felicitated thrice by (NOTTO), MoHFW for their commitment to the cause.

She is responsible for strategic planning in the organization, guiding the team and providing leadership in all projects of ORGAN India. Urged by transplant athletes in 2021, she pitched for ORGAN India, Parashar Foundation to be the Member Organization representing transplant athletes from India. She is also the Member Representative from India at the World Transplant Games Federation and part of the team management.

SHANKAR ARORA

Team Manager

Shankar Arora is the Team Manager and the heartbeat of the Indian contingent that will participate in the World Transport Games 2025 to be held at Dresden, Germany. He was also the Team Manager for the WTG 2023 Indian Team at Perth, Australia.

His dedication and perseverance has seen Indian largest Transplant Team come together, well trained and organized and extremely successful at WTG Perth, Australia 2023.

In a career spanning over two decades, Shankar has managed and produced large scale events as varied as NH7, F1 Lap Lounge, and managed Indian tours of performing arts companies from the UK, France and Switzerland. He was the production and company manager for Tim Supple’s production of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ which toured India, the US, UK, Italy and Australia, with over 300 shows in 25 cities.

He takes on a variety of projects in the field of management and design and is currently finishing his law degree from Delhi University.

KAVITA PURI ARORA

Graphics & Creative Consultant, ORGAN India

Kavita Puri Arora is a graphic designer working in collaboration with ORGAN India since our inception. Kavita has been instrumental in designing and creating our diverse range of collateral from children’s booklets to ads, creating and initiating campaigns and managing our events.

Her work has focussed around graphic design for print and social media as well as project management for arts and cultural organisations based in Delhi. She has worked with organisations as varied as First City Magazine, HarperCollins Publishers India, BBC World Service Trust, British Council, Population Foundation of India and the Swiss Arts Council. She is a mother of two and considers her two children her most important projects!
